By growing the number of smoke-free communities in the state, future and current generations of Kentuckians will be protected from the dangers of secondhand smoke. We work in partnership with many community-based organizations and passionate health advocates who often work with few resources and fight an uphill battle to counter a pro-tobacco climate in their communities. We serve as a clearinghouse and a sounding board for health advocates and elected officials by helping them build capacity and demand for smoke-free policy, and translate and disseminate the science of secondhand smoke and smoke-free policy.
