Type of Law

Partial. Smoking is prohibited within most public buildings and enclosed spaces. Smoking is prohibited within 15 feet of entrances.

Where smoking is prohibited

Any dwelling except those also used as a childcare facility, an adult day care facility, or a common area; any enclosed space being used for a private social function not open to the public; any room used for nicotine addiction treatment by a licensed healthcare professional; physically separate or independently ventilated smoking rooms in hospitals, hospice facilities, or nursing homes; retail tobacco stores; tobacco warehouses; indoor smoking areas in state or federal government buildings; confined areas with HVAC systems that meet specific requirements.
