Type of Law

100% Smoke-free Workplaces and Enclosed Public Places. All buildings open to the public and places of employment including facilities and vehicles owned or operated by the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. E-cigarettes included.

Where smoking is not prohibited

Any dwelling; rental room or hall used for private social function and not open to public; any room used for psychological treatment of nicotine addiction by licensed health care professional; physically separate and independently ventilated room in a hospital, hospice, or nursing home open to all residents as a smoking room; retail tobacco store; performer as part of theatre production; building operated or used by private organizations and not open to the public.
