100% Smoke-free Workplaces and Enclosed Public Places. Smoking is prohibited in all enclosed public places and enclosed places of employment as well as outdoor places of employment where two or more employees are present. Restrictions include private and semi-private rooms in long term care facilities, all hotel and motel guest rooms, short term rental lodging facilities, and select outdoor public places (e.g., outdoor seating areas of restaurants, bars, or other establishments, outdoor arenas and stadiums, outdoor playgrounds, outdoor public transportation stations, platforms, and shelters). Smoking is also prohibited in outdoor common areas of multi-unit residential facilities, except in outdoor designated smoking areas. E-cigarettes, hookah, and marijuana included.  

Where smoking is not prohibited

Private residences, unless used as a childcare, adult daycare, or healthcare facility; open air areas of businesses such as patios, yards, and sidewalks adjacent to the business as long as smoke is not allowed to enter the building through entrances, windows, ventilation systems, and other means.
